Biology Module Facilitator

We are seeking a dedicated Biology Module Facilitator to deliver a foundational module that offers a comprehensive introduction to fundamental biological concepts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and capable of preparing students for advanced studies in life sciences or biological sciences.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct in-person seminars focusing on cellular biology, biological molecules, and human body systems.
- Develop and implement student-centred teaching strategies that accommodate various learning styles.
- Facilitate laboratory sessions to enhance students' practical skills in data analysis, laboratory techniques, and scientific report writing.
- Assess student progress through a combination of practical and theoretical evaluations.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials based on universal design for learning (UDL) principles to ensure all students can achieve learning outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a closely related field.
- Strong foundation in the topics of biological molecules, cellular biology, genetics, and human body systems.
- Proven experience in teaching or facilitating learning in a biological sciences context.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse academic backgrounds.
- Proficient in laboratory practices and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
