Food Technology Teacher

Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wigan to recruit an inspiring Food Technology Teacher to join their Technology department immediately right through until the summer, with the possibility of continuing into the next academic year for the right candidate!Your new roleThis is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop students' skills and confidence in the kitchen. The role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Food Technology, planning and delivering high-quality lessons, and contributing to the wider department where necessary. The position is also available as a four-day-a-week opportunity.What the school are looking for:

• A qualified Food Technology teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong curriculum knowledge.
• Someone who can deliver engaging, practical lessons that build students' confidence and culinary skills.
• A teacher who can support learners of all abilities and contribute positively to the wider D&T department.
• A reliable, committed professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-expectation environment.
