Qualified Teaching Assistant - Rugby

Hays Education are looking to recruit qualified and motivated Teaching Assistants to work on an agency basis within schools across the Rugby area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work within different school environments while building experience and developing professionally. You will support teaching and learning, work with pupils across various year groups, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom experience.Your new role

• Supporting teachers across the classroom and delivering targeted support
• Assisting individual pupils and small groups, including those with SEND
• Helping with classroom set-up, resources, and learning activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils' emotional well-being
• Providing feedback to teachers and working collaboratively with school staff
• Supporting with general classroom duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a primary school setting
• Ability to use initiative and adapt across different school environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient, and supportive attitude
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Hays)
