Cover Supervisor - Grammar School (Medway)

The Role
We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-established Grammar School in the Medway area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a high-performing school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. No planning or marking is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising classes during teacher absences
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Delivering set work and ensuring students stay focused
- Providing support and guidance where needed
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements
- Previous school-based experience is desirable, but not essential
- Confidence managing a classroom
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
