Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity overseas?We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive Early Years setting in Cyprus, working within a highly supportive environment as part of the Defence Children Services (DCS) network.
This is a fully funded placement, making it an ideal role for someone looking to gain valuable international experience while supporting young children in a close-knit, community-focused setting.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting children with a variety of Special Educational Needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment within their early years setting
- Assisting in planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and positive classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with families, many of whom relocate frequently due to military postings
- Contributing to a setting known for its strong family ethos, community spirit, and child-centred approach
About the Setting
The nursery is part of the Defence Children Services (DCS) network and is widely recognised for its welcoming, inclusive ethos. Situated within the beautiful Western Sovereign Base Area, the environment enriches the Early Years curriculum and offers a unique working experience unlike any UK-based role.
