Private Client Tax Senior
40,000 - 50,000 (DOE)
Full-time (part-time hours considered)
Based in Leeds - minimum 1 day per week in the office
The Role
This is a predominantly compliance-focused position with scope to get involved in advisory assignments where appropriate. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Managing HMRC correspondence and resolving queries
- Supporting ad hoc advisory projects
- Collaborating with team members to gather and review client information
- Assisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) quarterly reporting
- Trust experience is advantageous but not essential
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ideally ATT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Experienced in preparing personal tax returns
- Confident in communicating with clients and HMRC
- Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines during busy periods
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
