Estate Agent - Lettings Negotiator

We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator for our Estate Agency client based in Hatfield.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 to 2 year's experience as a Lettings Negotiator.

Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car.

Salary and benefits package for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

• Basic £25,000 - £26,500
• OTE £35,000
• Pooled commission on new lets and relets
• Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am - 4pm on a rota basis (with day back in lieu)
• 5 day working week
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Responsibilities for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

• Carry out accompanied viewings
• Generate viewings from portal leads
• Property inspections
• Liaise with landlords and tenants
• Arranged agreed maintenance
• Deal with end of tenancy dilapidations/checkouts
• Arrange required property safety certificates
• General administration duties
• Qualify applicants pre referencing
• Assist with marketing and new business

Key Skills for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

• Must have at least 1 to 2 year's experience as a Lettings Negotiator
• Good computer skills
• A high level of customer service skills
• Well-presented and professional
• Understanding of the lettings process
• Be up to date with current legislation
• The desire to work well in a team, and independently
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Target driven with a 'can do' attitude
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car
