Recruitment Assistant

Salary: £14.66

Contract Type: Temporary - 6 months

Location: Coventry CV1, by train station - Hybrid. Majority of the job is working from home but you will be required to come into the Coventry office when needed.

Reed are representing a national public service organisation that supports children and families. They are looking for extra staff to join their Recruitment team in Coventry due to an increase in business demands

Overview

This role supports internal recruitment across multiple locations and business areas. It is a fast-paced position suitable for someone who enjoys varied recruitment administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage internal recruitment processes from application stage to offer
  • Raise job vacancies on internal systems and advertising on the company job page
  • Arrange interviews, adjust schedules, chase assessments and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Screen applicants, review CVs, assess right-to-work documentation and shortlist candidates
  • Support panel scoring processes for hiring managers

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience
  • Confident, proactive, and excellent communicator
  • Able to manage changing priorities and a busy workload
  • Experience working in high-volume recruitment environments
