Operations Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage operations within the FMCG industry. Based in Central Belt Scotland, this role requires expertise in Engineering & Manufacturing to ensure the efficient running of site activities.

Description

• Lead and manage site operations to achieve optimal performance and productivity circa 50 heads.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and engineering activities to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, fostering a strong work ethic.
• Ensure customer requirements are met through effective operational planning.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Looking for someone that has already operated at Site Operations Lead or GM with a proven track record who can work autonomously
• Strong knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet operational targets.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
• Permanent position based in Central Belt Scotland.
