Your new companyYou will be joining a respected organisation based in Loughborough, working within a professional maintenance and small-works team. They deliver a range of building, repair and refurbishment tasks, offering long-term stability and a friendly, supportive working environment. This position is temporary, minimum of 3 months, with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm after 12 weeks following a successful interview.Your new roleAs a Builder / Bricklayer, you will be responsible for a wide range of general building and bricklaying duties, including:

• Bricklaying, blockwork and repointing
• Small structural alterations and making-good
• General building maintenance and refurbishment tasks
• Installing lintels, openings and small build works
• Basic plastering, patch repairs and rendering
• External works such as paving, flagging, fencing and minor groundwork
• Supporting reactive repair jobs as required
• Working safely and professionally in both occupied and non-occupied environments

Pay: £22-£24 per hour, paid via PAYE or Umbrella (CIS not accepted).Start date: 9th March.What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying or General Building
• Strong experience in bricklaying, building maintenance or construction
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving approach
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
