Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer

A well-established and reputable law firm in NW London is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join their close-knit team. You will be working directly alongside a highly experienced Partner and a Senior Conveyancer within a thriving property department known for its high-quality client service and strong local reputation.
The successful candidate will manage a full and varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will work collaboratively with the Partner and Senior Conveyancer, offering a high level of technical expertise and client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Help to Buy and shared ownership
- Conducting title checks, reporting to clients, raising and responding to enquiries.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, and other solicitors.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and legal documents.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Supporting the wider team with technical queries when required.
- Contributing to the department's continued growth and fostering strong client relationships.
Person Specification
- Qualified Solicitor (minimum 0-3 PQE ideal, but all levels considered).
- Proven experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters independently.
- Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
This role offers hybrid working after an initial settling period.
