Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer

A well-established and reputable law firm in NW London is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join their close-knit team. You will be working directly alongside a highly experienced Partner and a Senior Conveyancer within a thriving property department known for its high-quality client service and strong local reputation.

The successful candidate will manage a full and varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will work collaboratively with the Partner and Senior Conveyancer, offering a high level of technical expertise and client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload of residential property matters, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • New build transactions
    • Help to Buy and shared ownership
  • Conducting title checks, reporting to clients, raising and responding to enquiries.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, and other solicitors.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and legal documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Supporting the wider team with technical queries when required.
  • Contributing to the department's continued growth and fostering strong client relationships.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Solicitor (minimum 0-3 PQE ideal, but all levels considered).
  • Proven experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters independently.
  • Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

This role offers hybrid working after an initial settling period.
