Commercial Finance Manager FMCG

Your new companyAre you interested in joining a fast-growing business that is currently expanding both within the UK and into other markets? They are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join and help support the strategic growth of the business. This role will be varied with business partnering, commercial analysis, profitability & growth analysis, and forecasting. They are looking for someone with strong commercial finance experience - ideally within the FMCG, retail or consumer goods industries. Your new roleReporting into the CFO, you'll be responsible for:

• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to provide commercial insight and decision support across the business
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts, including volume, price, mix and margin analysis
• Own and deliver P&L management, with a strong focus on gross margin, net revenue and cost control
• Drive pricing, promotions and trade spend analysis, ensuring ROI is clearly understood and optimised
• Provide robust commercial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and NPD
• Act as a key finance lead for customer and channel profitability analysis
• Challenge stakeholders constructively to improve commercial performance and decision-making
• Develop and maintain clear, actionable management reporting for senior leadership
• Identify risks and opportunities, translating data into practical commercial recommendations

What you'll need to succeedYou'll be a qualified finance professional with proven experience within a commercial finance role, ideally within the FMCG / consumer goods / retail sector. You'll be a confident business partner and be keen to have a sole charge role for all things commercial finance.
