I am currently recruiting for a versatile Administrator to join a Construction company in Chelmsford. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands on role where no two days are the same.
In this position, you will be involved with two important teams within the business. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their enquiries are handled with care as well as providing vital administration that keeps site operations running smoothly.
Key Details:- Starting salary 28-30k
- Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
- 25 days holiday + BH
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Free onsite parking
Your Responsibilities:- Being the first point of contact for customers and contractors
- Coordinate maintenance tasks by logging enquiries and allocating work to subcontractors
- Maintain precise digital records and use databases to track planned works
- Provide high level support to the teams through report preparation and correspondence
- Assist with office based duties including diary coordination and meeting minutes
Experience Needed:- Proven experience in an administrative or customer facing role ideally within a similar industry
- A professional telephone manner with strong communication skills
- Excellent IT literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
- A proactive and adaptable mindset to support various functions of the business
- The ability to travel independently across the local area (a full UK driving licence is preferred)
