Reed Practice have been engaged by this highly reputable firm to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior, following sustained business growth and a number of internal promotions.

The Role

In this varied and progressive role, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients - from sole traders through to limited companies across a broad range of sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients
• Supporting the Audit Manager during the audit process
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members, offering guidance and technical support
• Preparing schedules for tax returns
• Finalising VAT returns

About You

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have:

• Completed or be currently studying ACCA, ACA or equivalent
• Experience in both audit and accounts preparation within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong IT aptitude with knowledge of systems such as CCH and CaseWare
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and client-facing
• A natural analytical mindset and the ability to manage workloads effectively
