Job Description

We are working with a forward-thinking development team and are seeking an ambitious, commercially aware Employers Agent to support the delivery of a diverse pipeline of residential projects across the region. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in the delivery of affordable housing and Build to Rent schemes, ranging from small developments through to large, high-quality neighbourhoods of up to 350 homes.

These projects are anything but standard. You'll be involved in schemes that embrace Zero Carbon, Zero Energy Bills, Passivhaus principles, and a wide range of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) - helping to drive innovation and best practice throughout the development lifecycle.

This position is ideal for a proactive and strategic professional who enjoys shaping delivery strategies, managing complex programmes, and ensuring that projects achieve exceptional outcomes in sustainability, quality and value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Employers Agent on a range of residential development projects.
  • Support and influence project strategy from early stages through to completion.
  • Lead on contract administration, procurement and programme management.
  • Manage risk, proactively identify challenges and drive effective solutions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all developments meet exacting standards around sustainability, compliance, quality and cost.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant degree and working towards APC / RICS accreditation.
  • Minimum 2 years' surveying or project consultancy experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capable of strategic thinking with strong commercial and risk awareness.
  • Confident in decision-making, relationship management and constructive challenge.
