HR Assistant

Description

• Maintain and update employee records, including details for new hires, terminations, and any changes to employment status.
• Manage the employment referencing process for new starters and respond to external reference requests by verifying employment details.
• Oversee the recruitment administration process, including posting job advertisements and ensuring Right to Work and DBS checks are completed for all new starters.
• Coordinate and administer probation review processes.
• Provide note-taking support for line managers during employee relations investigations and meetings.
• Administer pension schemes and employee benefits, ensuring timely enrolment and accurate updates.
• Prepare and distribute HR reports, records, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and company policies.
• Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK regulations.

Profile

A successful HR Assistant professional should have:
