Administration Assistant (Maternity Cover)
- Annual Salary: UST 4 £21,058 - £23,668 p.a. (FTE £23,866 - £26,824 p.a.)

- Contract (up to 12 months for Maternity Cover)
- Working Hours: 36 hours per week / 40 weeks per year (Term time plus 5 Inset days and one additional week)

This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression at the school reception and supporting our staff and community with efficient, professional service. Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as the first point of contact at the school reception, providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, staff, and students.
- Handle communications including emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Utilise various school systems such as Office, Outlook, and SIMS to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
- Support the organisation and execution of school events, fostering collaboration and community engagement.
- Contribute to the safeguarding of children and young people by adhering to strict procedures and maintaining First Aid qualification for first-response aid.
- Collaborate with the central Trust team to ensure consistency and excellence across the organisation.
- Manage reprographics requests including printing, photocopying, and organising maintenance for reprographic equipment.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of school events, exams, and other functions, ensuring smooth operation and success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and school management systems like SIMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing front desk responsibilities.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and events efficiently.
- A commitment to child welfare and safeguarding practices.
- First Aid certification or willingness to undergo First Aid training.
