This amazing SEND School is seeking a patient, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Speech, Language & Communication diagnoses within a small, nurturing setting.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support a group of around six students, helping to create a positive, structured and therapeutic learning environment. Your role will involve:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Assisting with personalised learning plans
  • Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Supporting communication development
  • Helping students build confidence and independence
