Programme Director

A large, complex business is beginning a major transformation of its core technology landscape and is seeking a Programme Director to lead this cyber-security project.

This 12-18 month contract will focus on the implementation/maturing of CIS Controls as well as updating and strengthening the foundational technology stack.

This role will suit a seasoned Programme Director, who can effectively blend strategic leadership and hands on delivery.

An in-office presence is required 2/3 days per week in Central London.

• Lead the uplift and maturity of CIS controls across a large, distributed enterprise.
• Oversee end to end delivery of a multi workstream Technology Foundations programme (cloud, identity, networks, infrastructure).
• Act as the link between Security, Architecture, Engineering, and operational teams, ensuring security requirements translate into delivery.
• Provide clear assurance to senior leadership on progress, risks, and delivery confidence.
• Shape programme direction while resolving detailed delivery challenges and coordinating a matrixed team.
• Embed a sustainable operating model aligned to enterprise architecture and long term technology standards.

• Immediately Availabe to start a new role (1 month notice period also considered)
• Strong understanding of CIS controls and experience implementing/maturing them in complex environments is crucial
• Proven track record delivering large scale cyber-security programmes across large organisations
• Background in consumer facing settings is advantageous
