Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a growing Payroll company based in Bolton , they are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their team. This role will be predominantly work from home.

The Role:

• You will be the escalation point and have exceptional legislation knowledge
• Support, oversee and guide the team with process's in Head of Payroll's absence
• Processing the end to end Payroll for a current portfolio of 450 clients as part of a team
• Processing weekly, monthly and 4 weekly payrolls
• Year end processes including processing P11D's and HMRC submissions
• Looking for a number of years' experience
• Currently use SAGE, Xero & Brightpay

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Strong Client payroll experience dealing with the full process gross to net
• Looking for technical knowledge
• Strong HMRC legislation
• Employment law around payroll
• Strong level of accuracy and precision
• Great customer service as dealing with queries
• Manipulation of data within Excel
