Irish Payroll Specialist

18-20 per hour

On going temporary role

Are you an aspiring payroll a professional looking to provide additional support to the payroll team during a busy period and assist with an ongoing project.

Portfolio Payroll are proud to be representing a global retail brand who have been operating for over 140 years.

Job Overview

You will be a key part of the payroll team assisting with the following.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Managing payroll input, dealing with validation and queries from the Irish outsourced payroll provider
  • Ireland Auto Enrolment Pensions
  • Managing payroll input and validation for Irish head office payroll

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience working with an outsourced payroll provider
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • UK Payroll legislation knowledge
  • Experience with retail payroll, hourly paid staff and salaried employees
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience working in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with weekly and monthly payroll
  • A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
  • Experience with international payrolls
  • Experience with Irish payroll
  • Experience with projects & parallel runs
