Job Description

The Senior Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in scaling the company's global footprint. You will be instrumental in building and managing the end-to-end S&OP process, ensuring seamless integration between demand forecasting, inventory strategies, and supply chain operations to support international expansion.

Description

Work with the Head of Supply Chain to develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

Drive robust demand forecasting processes to ensure accurate predictions of customer needs, reducing shortages and excess stock.

Lead the analysis of historical data, market trends, and business intelligence to improve forecasting accuracy.

Implement advanced forecasting models, including statistical analysis to refine demand predictions.

Establish and manage an S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and financial planning.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, production, and supply chain teams to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency.

Identify risks associated with demand variability and develop mitigation strategies to enhance responsiveness.

Implement tools and best practices to enhance cross-border supply chain scalability.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding inventory control and forecasting.

Profile

A successful Senior Demand Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in demand planning.
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools and software, high level of proficiency in Excel required.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting tools, statistical modelling, and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
