Job Title: Electronic Assembler
Contract Type: Temporary (with the potential for a permanent position)
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working Hours: Monday & Tuesday, 6 am - 3:45 pm; Wednesday & Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Electronic Assembler to join our clients dynamic team! If you have a passion for electrical and mechanical assembly and thrive in a flexible work environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do:
As an Electronic Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and inspection of electronic components. Your key responsibilities will include:

Perform inspection, assembly, configuration, and functional testing on electronic components, such as:
- Actuators
- 8071/2 PID Controllers
- Positioner Boards

• Assemble and test valves, switches, alternators, and controls to form complete units or subassemblies as needed.
• Interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials to ensure a 'right first time' mindset.
• Accurately pick materials against the Bill of Material to meet necessary requirements.
• Uphold Company Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards at all times. Conduct inspections to identify and escalate any defects.
• Champion 5S principles, Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), and maintain good housekeeping.
• Actively engage with the Company's Performance Management System, working towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support the training and development of your colleagues as needed.
• Embrace change positively and productively, adapting to new tasks and challenges.
• Work additional hours when required to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled.
• Keep updated on changes to Company Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance.
