Pure are working with an established and growing business who are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role with responsibility for Purchase Ledger activities and support across the wider finance function.
The Role:
- Oversee Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
- Review employee expense claims
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and credit control when required
- Support bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
- Support reporting and ad-hoc finance projects
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in an accounts / finance role
- Strong Accounts Payable knowledge
- Confident using Excel and MS Office
- Experience with accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
- Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Initially this is a 6 month contract but may have the opportunity to go permanent for the right individual.
This is a full tme office role but does offer flexibility as and when needed in a great culture and environment.
