Responsibilities of a Nursery chef
- Prepare fresh, healthy, and age-appropriate meals and snacks
- Cater for special dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural needs
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
- Manage food stock, ordering, and storage efficiently
- Keep accurate records relating to allergens, temperatures, and cleaning schedules
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean, safe, and well organised
About you
- Experience working in an early years or childcare environment
- Passion for healthy cooking and child nutrition
- Friendly, reliable, and organised approach
- Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent
