Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Lead for Street Cleansing and Pest Control to join the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Street Cleansing and Pest Control, ensuring efficient and effective planning, operational management, delivery, maintenance and support for the services' objectives borough wide. You will lead a dedicated team, develop projects, implement improvement plans, and work closely with various stakeholders to enhance our street cleansing and pest control services meeting environmental targets and delivering exemplary services.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing the Street Cleansing and Pest Control teams to deliver high-quality exemplary services.

Implementing street cleansing and pest management strategies, policies and managing projects.

Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Managing budgets and resources effectively, providing monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Engaging with the community and stakeholders to promote street cleansing and pest control initiatives.

Monitoring and reporting on service performance and environmental impact.

Key qualifications and skills:

Extensive experience Street Cleansing and Pest Management or a related field.

BCPA Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management

NEBOSH/IOSH and COSHH Management

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices.

Strong financial management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A commitment to sustainability and environmental improvement.
