Payroll Supervisor - £200 - £250 per day - Heathrow - 3/6 months
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage a payroll population of approximately 1,000 employees. This role will work closely with external payroll provider, ensuring all processes run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with HMRC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the external payroll provider.
- Ensure all payroll activities are compliant with UK legislation and internal controls.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries from the business.
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice on payroll compliance requirements.
- Support year-end and monthly payroll processes.
- Collaborate with the wider HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience in the following areas:
- P11D
- PAYE
- Holiday pay enhancement
- Apprenticeship Levy
- Shift work and variable pay components
- HMRC legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Ability to guide stakeholders on actions needed to remain compliant
