CNC Miller Programmer/Operator

Hours: 37 per week
Salary: 20 ph + bonuses

TeamJobs is working with a leading engineering and machining company who are expanding their CNC milling department. We're looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Operator with strong HAAS experience to join their modern, purpose-built facility in Blackburn.

• Programming, setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines

• Producing medium-high batch components to tight tolerances

• Selecting tooling, optimising cutting strategies and ensuring high production efficiency

• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

• Working with a range of materials, including exotic alloys

• Maintaining excellent quality and health & safety standards

• Time-served machinist with CNC milling experience

• Confident programming on HAAS controls

• Strong understanding of tooling, work holding and cutting strategies

• Background in high-tolerance environments (automotive ideal)

• A team player with great communication skills
