The Role
- Lead, manage, and develop the Estates and Capital team
- Oversee capital projects from planning through delivery
- Ensure compliance across Health & Safety, maintenance, and facilities
- Manage budgets, contracts, and leases across a large estate portfolio
- Deliver sustainability and energy efficiency improvements
- Advise the leadership team on all estates, property, and capital matters
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and performance
The Person
- Degree-qualified in estates, construction, or property management
- Strong leadership experience within estates or facilities management
- Proven track record of managing capital projects and large budgets
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and compliance frameworks
- Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to deliver and motivate teams
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification preferred
- Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, BIFM, or similar) desirable
- Experience within the education or public sector is advantageous
