Description

  • Maintain and update HR systems and records (e.g. BreatheHR)
  • Support recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and compliance checks
  • Coordinate induction, probation, and appraisal processes
  • Assist with payroll input and benefits administration
  • Help deliver wellbeing initiatives and staff events
  • Support policy updates, HR reporting, and compliance
  • Provide admin support to the Director of HR and respond to staff queries

Profile

A successful HR Administrator should have:

  • Experience in HR administration, recruitment, and onboarding
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident use of HRIS and Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Experience in a charity, faith-based or membership setting (desirable)

Job Offer

  • Salary of 30,000 - 35,000 (Full Time Equivalent)
  • Fixed-term contract with potential opportunities for development.
  • 0.6 FTE (3 days/week) with flexible working
  • 21 days annual leave (rising to 26)
