Description

The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox efficiently.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar accountancy role
  • A strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Part-qualified, or studying CIMA/ACCA
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
