Looking to make a real impact in food safety and hygiene? A leading manufacturer is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to drive hygiene excellence and compliance across its production site in Sudbury.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Hygiene Standards: Own the pathogen monitoring program and respond to non-conformities with precision.
- Pest Control Oversight: Ensure pest management is proactive, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Cleaning Compliance: Champion best practices in cleaning and sanitation across all operational zones.
- Audit & Regulation: Support internal/external audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and other key standards.
- Training & Culture: Deliver food safety and GMP training, embedding a hygiene-first mindset across teams.
- Regulatory Liaison: Stay ahead of evolving standards and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or food science.
- 3-5 years in a hygiene or food safety role.
- Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks and audit processes.
- Strong communicator and team player with a proactive mindset.
