Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Manager

Pay Rate: negotiable (inside IR35)
Location: East Mids or Bristol
Contract Type: 3 months FTC
Working Pattern: Hybrid 1 -2 days per week in office, Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm

Are you ready to make an impact in the energy sector? We are seeking a dynamic and meticulous Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our client's team! This is an exciting opportunity to oversee regulatory reporting, drive insights, and engage with key stakeholders in a vibrant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in managing the Regulatory Reporting Pack (RRP) requirements, collaborating closely with the Regulation and Finance teams.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of regulatory reporting requirements, effectively project managing outputs across the wider team.
• Establish and maintain KPIs/metrics for the DSO, using digital tools to create insightful dashboards.
• Support the Finance reporting process, working in tandem with the Finance Business Partner.
• Coordinate risk management strategies across the DSO to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and influence positions on critical government and regulatory policies impacting the DSO.
• Craft high-quality written submissions for regulators and government decision-makers.

What We are Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you will need:

Knowledge & Experience:

• A solid understanding of the GB regulatory environment, including network incentives frameworks.
• Experience engaging with regulators is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
• Proven capability in influencing key internal stakeholders within a large, complex organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex issues with exceptional diligence.

Skills:

• Delivery-focused with a knack for identifying key issues and formulating actionable solutions.
• Exceptional written communication skills, complemented by a strong ability to connect verbally.
• An external mindset, appreciating the complexity of the energy sector and the competitive regulatory landscape.
• Strong analytical capabilities, adept at turning insights into actionable strategies.
