Catch 22 are supporting a dynamic and high-profile events and facilities environment in central Manchester who are seeking a QSHE Coordinator. This is an ideal role for someone looking to take their first or second step into a Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental position, with strong support for professional development and progression.
Reporting to the QSHE Manager, you will support the implementation and improvement of QSHE systems across a busy, customer-facing environment. You'll be involved in auditing, updating documentation, responding to Health & Safety queries, and promoting a positive safety culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and improvement of QSHE systems and documentation
- Assist with internal audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Help draft and review policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Support compliance reporting and legal registers
- Liaise with departments to ensure event and venue-related H&S needs are met
- Promote best practice and contribute to a positive safety culture
Ideal Candidate
- A strong interest in developing a career within Health & Safety
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with all levels of staff and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards) desirable
- Experience in events, hospitality, or a compliance-based role is beneficial
Role Package
- Salary up to £29,000
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
