- Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis to assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
- Review and process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Part-qualified or working towards an accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
