Service Engineer Team Leader

We're currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated BMS Service Engineer Team Leader to join our growing Smart Infrastructure division. This is a fantastic opportunity to blend hands-on engineering with people leadership, helping deliver innovative, energy-efficient building management solutions across a variety of client sites.

As a BMS Service Engineer Team Leader, you'll take charge of:

• Leading and mentoring a team of BMS service engineers

• Managing planned and reactive maintenance of BMS systems

• Handling complex fault diagnostics and technical issues

• Ensuring delivery aligns with KPIs and client expectations

• Performing system health checks and site audits

• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams

• Supporting energy-saving strategies and system optimization

• Participating in out-of-hours customer support

• Maintaining accurate service records and driving continuous improvement

Essential:

• Proven experience working with BMS systems

• Strong understanding of HVAC, controls, and building automation

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Relevant technical qualifications (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Controls Engineering)

Desirable:

• Siemens certification or training

• Experience with smart building and energy management systems

• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, KNX

• Knowledge of IT networks and BMS cybersecurity
