This role offers a competitive salary up to 55,000, a car allowance, and a fuel card.
As General Foreman, you'll be instrumental in leading and supervising a team of operatives across various general civils and infrastructure projects. These projects are varied and may include earthworks, drainage, roadworks, groundwork, and utilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating your team to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets, ensuring effective management of materials and resources.
Upholding a safe and healthy working environment, with strict adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborating closely with the Site Manager, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Ensuring all work complies with project specifications and drawings.
We're seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented individual with:
A proven track record as a Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the civil engineering industry.
Extensive hands-on experience in general civils and infrastructure projects, including expertise in earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utilities.
An excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
