Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Leicester
35k - 45k + uplifts (OTE 65k-80k)

Job responsibilities:

• Scheduled service / maintenance visits to check and calibrate Instrumentation and Auxiliary systems.
• Completing all required documentation to include site reports and quality documentation.
• Re-Commissioning of machinery after service / maintenance visits.
• in-house repairs on customer equipment.
• Small works modifications to plant and equipment.
• Assisting with Installation of new control systems
• Static commissioning and loop checking
• Assisting Project engineers with design and testing.

Essential skills required:

• Formal qualifications in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
• Good levels of practical experience with rotating machinery are essential
• Good customer relation skills required
• Prioritising workloads to deadline
• Ability to extract information from specifications
• Be able to work under own initiative, and as part of, or leading a team on site
• Must be willing to travel and stay away from home frequently
• Must hold a current, clean driving license
• Full passport

Advantageous experience:

• CompEx Certification
• TUV / SUD Functional Safety qualification or equivalent
• Power Generation industry knowledge
• CCNSG Passport to Safety
• Offshore Vantage Card
• Good working knowledge of PLC based control systems (Rockwell and Siemens S7)
