We're looking for a regional Internal Communications Consultant, to shape the way we communicate with thousands of staff and volunteers who do so much to look after the beautiful places and spaces across the South West.
Supporting the Regional Director, and the Leadership community, you'll develop and deliver an internal communications plan which will bring the regional ambition, priorities and achievements to life. You work as part of our national Internal Communications Network supporting wider on essential communications.
What it's like to work here
As this role covers the South-West region, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We'll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40-60% of your working week.
Travel will be required to the places that you'll be supporting, including attendance at regional and national events throughout the year.
What you'll be doing
As the voice for all internal communications in the region, you'll work with senior directors to develop and manage the internal communication plan that will inspire our people by celebrating our achievements and sharing our stories.
You'll provide tactical and strategic internal communications advice to support and engage our people with our national and regional priorities.
You'll partner with the regional senior management team, providing advice and support to ensure the best way communicate to and engage with their teams.
You'll manage our suite of regional channels including intranet and staff newsletter, as well as organising events and rich audio-visual content.
