Housing Support Worker

At our specialist homelessness service, we aim to help individuals break the cycle of homelessness by providing not just a roof over their heads, but the emotional and practical support needed for them to regain control of their lives. As a Housing Support Worker, your kind and caring nature will be crucial. You'll work one-on-one with our residents each week, helping them set and achieve their personal goals. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to build strong, professional relationships with vulnerable adults, and your love of new ideas will mean you're always ready to explore creative ways to enhance their support.
This role involves working as part of a dedicated team that pulls together to provide round-the-clock support, 7 days a week. This role does require sleep ins each week (no more than two per week).

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check. You'll need to be able to work shifts, early, late, including some weekends and bank holidays, plus sleep ins.
On average there are two sleep ins per week where you would receive a sleep in allowance on top of your
normal salary.
