Our Client is urgently looking for a ServiceNow Administrator. SC clearance is essential, hybrid working, contract inside IR35. About the role: We are looking for a ServiceNow Administrator with hands-on experience of supporting on-prem ServiceNow implementations on Linux based Operating Systems. You will be providing 2nd and 3rd line support as part of a Supplier team operating in a new and very dynamic customer business environment. As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will administer and support multiple ServiceNow instances to meet the unique business needs of our users and developers. You will work with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, developers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand and provide solutions across different applications on the ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities: - Ensuring high availability and optimum performance of ServiceNow and its databases including proactive monitoring and maintenance of the database and application stacks to ensure secure services and minimum downtime. - Configure and develop on the ServiceNow platform including routine changes or configuration adjustments. - Provision, configure, operate, and maintain/patch the installed ServiceNow platform. - Contribute to the configuration of new applications during planning, requirement gathering, design, development, documentation, and rollout phases. - Support the operations teams to provide daily, weekly, and monthly system monitoring, verifying the integrity, performance and availability of ServiceNow applications. - Perform ServiceNow upgrades and patching. - Coordinate system updates across different ServiceNow instances, ensuring latest patches and configuration changes are maintained. - Assist with defining the requirements for and creating the monitoring metrics, MI/BI report content and management dashboards. - Perform operational administrative tasks as needed for production and non-production instances. - Support ServiceNow agile software releases. - Mentor qualified but less experienced team colleagues. - Take ownership of projects and manage internal stakeholders.
