They are a medium sized business and you will be joining as a Senior member of the team. Currently, the business is focused on AWS largely, however they are looking to also move into the Azure space. The business works on small to medium sized projects however there is a changing focus to larger scale projects and also bigger clients. They are looking ideally for someone with a strong consultancy or managed services background (although not necessary) and also who is definitely senior in stature. The role: Reporting into the Head of Cloud Services, you will be a key part of the Solutions Architect team which forms a core component of a customer-focused, commercial customer success function. The business has expert Architects across VMWare, Azure and Data Management, and are looking for another AWS specialist to join a growing team. You will be responsible for designing AWS cloud first and hybrid cloud architectures and will integrate alongside Azure as well as the business' own cloud solution. You will have crucial face time with both clients and internal stakeholders, to understand their technical requirements and business needs and acting as a trusted partner in their cloud journey. The company are based in both Dundee and Aberdeen, however the company have a 2 day a month policy in office, so offer a very flexible WFH policy.
