Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for people facing Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading financial service provider in a dynamic role working across various platforms and entities within the business. You will have solid experience in MS Azure specifically AAD and Private Cloud, Office 365 Admin and policy creation, Virtualised & IAAS environments.

As a member of the Technology team, you will have a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the platforms used to maintain, support, and build our client's strategic vision. displaying a high level of organisation & technical ability, as well as being at ease communicating with business stakeholders at all levels, often covering complex subjects.

Tasks will include:

Ensure the smooth running of BAU Infrastructure functions covering private cloud and virtualised server environments, WAN and LAN networks, Security and Monitoring of the estate.
Manage SASE Firewall, rules/ACL's, WAN and Security platform.
Develop, document, and own current IT Infrastructure and cloud solutions.
M365 implementation, monitoring and continued maintenance.
Knowledge & experience

To a 3rd line level

Azure AD (Entra) & Azure Hosted environment.
Active Directory
DNS, DHCP internal and cloud-based solutions.
Meraki Switches and Wi-Fi
CATO WAN & SD-WAN networks
VMware via an IAAS supplier
M365 administration and security
Windows Server
Security overview of hybrid infrastructure

A starting salary of £55,000 plus a good benefits package is on offer for the right candidate for this office-based role (City of London, close to Bank tube) with opportunities for some remote working once settled into the position.
