About The Role Our market leading Restructuring and Insolvency team in Cheltenham is seeking a talented solicitor to join us. Renowned for our collaborative environment and commitment to professional growth, we work with insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, company directors, and corporate clients on challenging assignments. The team advises on both non contentious and contentious matters, with a particular emphasis on high value and complex insolvency cases. We act on behalf of office holders, creditors, and other stakeholders in disputes and legal proceedings, including investigations, asset tracing, claims relating to antecedent transactions, and personal and corporate insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcy and winding up. The role primarily supports senior members of the Cheltenham team and the wider team. While direct Restructuring and Insolvency experience is desirable, we are also open to those from transferable backgrounds such as dispute resolution, commercial, and corporate. Role of a Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor Provide clear, commercially focused advice as part of the team on issues across the breadth of Restructuring and Insolvency. Promote and drive high standards of service and accuracy across the department or team. Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within the Restructuring and Insolvency team, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge. Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities. About You Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent), likely NQ to 3 years PQE, with experience in Restructuring and Insolvency or transferable experience in dispute resolution, corporate, or commercial law. Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and successfully managing client relationships. Excellent technical ability and drafting skills. Demonstrated teamwork and relationship building skills. Strong commercial acumen. Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail.
