Now they're going through another healthy period of growth, they would like to add an IT Support Technician to support their circa 300 users across Office 365 suite, hardware and laptop fixes. The ideal candidate should possess demonstrable experience in customer service and technical support, having previously worked in client-facing roles. They should be quick learners, capable of adhering to processes and procedures, with the ability to manage multiple open cases simultaneously. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are crucial. Primary Responsibilities Technical Assistance (both remote and on-site) Investigating and diagnosing issues for office and field personnel. Implementing solutions to address identified problems. Documenting actions taken and findings. Maintaining consistent communication with internal clients throughout the resolution process. Escalating issues when necessary. Managing various administrative tasks within Office 365 and Entra ID. Continuously monitoring and maintaining systems as per established protocols. Conducting repairs and maintenance on laptop hardware. Essential Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A keen interest in IT and technological advancements. Strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in PC hardware, including diagnosing issues. Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11). Experience in Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID management. Proficiency in SharePoint Online. Hands-on experience in disassembling and reassembling PC hardware. Advantageous Familiarity with MS Windows Server 2012 and later versions. Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 installation and operation. Experience with Microsoft Intune. Proficiency in SharePoint Server 2019. Familiarity with Microsoft Access databases and development. Experience with Google Workspace. Possession of a full UK driving licence.
