Stock Administrator Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production & Inventory Administrator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Milton Keynes. This position plays a key role in supporting production, stock control, and warehouse administration activities while ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Production & Inventory Administration Process production assemblies and completed works orders within the ERP/WMS system. Maintain accurate inventory and stock records. Process authorised stock adjustments and inventory transactions. Investigate stock discrepancies and support corrective actions. Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts. Produce reports on finished goods and production output. Support inventory improvement initiatives and process enhancements. Production Administration Prepare and issue production paperwork and factory documentation. Print product and shipping labels. Update production schedules and planning information. Create and maintain part codes and product records. Produce weekly production and operational reports. Maintain accurate document control procedures. Goods-In Administration Check supplier documentation, pricing, and purchase orders. Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Process goods receipts accurately within the system. Update warehouse and inventory records. Process returned stock and investigate any discrepancies. Inventory & Warehouse Support Maintain overall stock accuracy across the warehouse. Coordinate goods collections and dispatch requirements. Update and reconcile stock counts. Support barcode scanning and inventory management improvements. Provide administration support covering goods in and goods out functions as required. Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, engineering, assembly, or industrial environment . Experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration, or production administration. Strong understanding of production processes and inventory accuracy. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work across production, warehouse, and office teams. Desirable Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or inventory management systems. Experience with production planning or materials control. Knowledge of stocktaking and cycle counting processes. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Personal Attributes Proactive and highly organised. Methodical with excellent attention to detail. Solutions-focused and commercially aware. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
