Semi Senior Accountant

A dedicated Semi Senior Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing financial systems, and contributing to the overall growth of our Business Services sector.

This is a medium sized organisation in the Business Services industry. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they employ over 200 individuals across various departments.

Description

• Preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Management of financial systems and budgets
• Completion of VAT returns
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting functions and operations
• Provide input into department's goal setting process
• Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

Profile

A successful Semi Senior Accountant should have:

• ACA / ACCA studier
• 3 year practice experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer software - Desirable but not essential
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organising abilities
