Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a role within a growing manufacturing business, working closely with the Site Director and reporting into the Group CFO.

Description

  • Act as key finance business partner for the business.
  • Business partner with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee all financial operations within the company, part of a wider group and reporting to FD.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve finance department goals.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - or qualified by experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Adept at financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector would be beneficial.
