Learning Support Assistant
A primary school based in Camden are looking for an ASD TA to join the school on long term contract in January 2024. The school has a vacancy in reception working with an autistic boy who has moderate needs, therefore the school are looking for a 1:1 TA to work closely with him as well as work closely with the rest of the class.

Are you a recent graduate, with a passion and interest in Psychology and Special Needs?
Can you commit to working a full academic year on a full time basis as a 1:1 TA with an ASD child in reception/ Early Years?
Do you have good behaviour management skills?
A large mainstream primary school with an excellent reputation in Kings Cross, Camden are searching for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start in January as a 1:1 SEN TA working with a boy with ASD. The ideal candidate will be a Teaching Assistant with knowledge of SEN, a passion for working with children and a strong academic background. You'll also have responsibility in the class as a general TA.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will mostly be supporting pupils with ASD (Autism) in and out of the classroom. You will be working with children in group settings as well as 1:1. You will be responsible for ensure the child/ children are on task, learning and behaving.
To be considered for these SEN TA jobs you'll need the following:
- Experience of working with children
- A 2:1 degree or above
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of ASD
