My client is a large Public Sector organisation based in North Bristol

Description

The Senior Finance Officer (SFO) plays a key role in the success of this Large Public Sector organisation.

The SFO will provide a range of strategic advice and operational financial support services to different operational departments. You will provide comprehensive financial advice and fulfil the statutory obligations of the organisation ensuring compliance with accountancy standards and codes of practice.

Profile

• It is essential that you have a recognised CCAB qualification, preferably CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA or will have equivalent relevant professional experience.
• You will have significant operational experience within a large organisation, covering the key financial processes of financial planning, budget preparation, budget monitoring and preparing final accounts.
• We require you to have experience of supervising a small team to effectively deliver a range of quality and cost effective financial management and financial support services.
• You will have excellent IT, numeracy and good analytical skills.
• Ideally you would need Knowledge of CIVICA Financials

Job Offer

A salary in the range of £40478 to £43516

Hybrid working - 1 -2 days month in the office in North Bristol
